Hosted by SunCrest Home Health, presenter Christy Goodwin will provide us with a Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT), a groundbreaking method to build a greater understanding of dementia.
Understanding the Virtual Dementia Tour Experience With Christy Goodwin.
During this Virtual Dementia Tour experience, Christy will guide participants outfitted with patented devices that alter their senses while they try to complete common everyday tasks and exercises. The tour enables caregivers to experience for themselves the physical and mental challenges those with dementia face. If you’re caring for elderly parents, or have experiences with a friend who has dementia, you’ll gain valuable insight from this event with information on the latest dementia advances presented by Christy.
Christy is the founder of One Heart Many Hands Dementia Training for Caregivers, founded in 2015. She is recognized by the Alabama Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators as a Category II Licensed Administrator for Assisted Living and Specialty Care Living facilities.
